1.2. Face Data Consent. Before the Dentrino Reveal application collects or processes any face data from photographs you capture or upload, we will request your explicit consent. You may withdraw your consent for the collection and processing of face data at any time by contacting us as set out in Section 10 below and requesting deletion of your User Account.

1.3. Personal information submitted to Dentrino, including through the Site, is kept confidential unless disclosed in accordance with this Policy, your express consent, or legal requirements. The table below describes the personal information that Dentrino collects and why we collect it:

Categories of Personal Information Description of the Category Collection Purposes

Where possible, we indicate which fields are required and which fields are optional. We use this information to provide you with the Services requested by you.
Payment and Purchase Data When you purchase Services, you will be asked to provide us with payment and billing information. Your personal information will be stored in a tokenized form and processed by a third-party payment processor. We use this information to process your payment for the Services requested by you, to manage any payment disputes, and to detect and protect us against error, fraud, and other criminal activity.
Case Photos Data If you upload a Case Photo through the Services, the Case Photo will include a picture of you or a third party, and may include other identifiable information such as a name or other information you provide to Dentrino while using the Services. If the Case Photo includes the likeness of a third party, you must ensure that you acquire the appropriate consent from the third party to allow their information to be processed by us, in accordance with the Terms of Service. We use this information to provide you with the Services requested by you, and to train our artificial intelligence system, as further described in Section 2.3.
Face Data When you use our Dentrino Reveal mobile application or upload Case Photos, the images may contain face data, including facial geometry, facial landmarks, and dental features derived from photographs of your face and mouth. Face data is collected only when you voluntarily capture or upload a photo through the app. We will ask for your explicit consent before collecting or processing any face data. We use face data to provide the Services you requested, specifically to identify individual teeth, generate proposed tooth shapes, and render photographic simulations of dental outcomes. Face data may also be used to improve our proprietary AI models as described in Section 2.3. Face data is processed exclusively by Dentrino’s own AI systems and is never sent to any third-party AI service. See Section 2.4 for full details on our face data practices.
Usage Data When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, such as the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our Site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on our Site or not), your computer browser information, your IP address, and your location. We use this information to: (i) generate analytics about how users browse and interact with the Services; (ii) help us understand our Site activity and to monitor and improve our Site; (iii) detect any attempts at tampering or interfering with the Site; and (iv) perform internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand, protect, and serve you and our community.
Advertising Data From time to time, we may place advertisements on third party sites (such as Facebook and Instagram). When you view or otherwise interact with our advertisements, we may use various technologies to collect and store advertising data. We use this information to learn how our customers use our Services, to grow our business, and to inform our marketing strategy.
Communications Data You may provide us with contact information for the purpose of receiving marketing communications, including your name, email, and phone number. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by unsubscribing or by contacting us as set out in Section 10 below. Dentrino uses your contact information to send newsletters and other information requested regarding Dentrino news, offers, and promotions, and to inform you about online and offline offers, products, services, events, product news, and updates.
Surveys and Customer Research Data From time to time, we may offer you the opportunity to participate in one of our surveys or other customer research. We use this information to help us measure consumer interest in our Services, and to enhance our product and service offerings and promotions.
Customer Service Data When you contact us with a comment, question, or complaint, you may be asked for information that identifies you (such as your name, address, and phone number) along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question or respond to your comment or complaint. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and to understand, diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix issues with the Service. We may also retain this information to assist you in the future and to improve our customer service, product and service offerings, and promotions.

2.2. Additional Collection Purposes. In addition to the collection purposes set out in Section 2.1, we may also collect your personal information for the following general purposes:

a. to help us enforce our Terms of Service;

b. to evaluate and develop new features, technologies, and improvements to the Service;

c. to conduct business planning, reporting, and forecasting; and

d. to provide you with system or administrative messages.

2.3. Training Artificial Intelligence Systems. The artificial intelligence models used by the Services will recognize individual teeth in the patient’s mouth, generate a new proposed set of tooth shapes for that patient, and then render that proposal to look like a photographic simulation of the result. Dentrino will use the Case Photos Data to facilitate the training of the AI models in order to improve our algorithms and Service offerings to you and other users. AI models require large quantities of data from which to train. By retaining and using the Case Photos Data, our AI algorithms can learn and base the Services on data that is more representative of its customer base, thereby increasing its problem-solving potential and accuracy. For clarity, Dentrino may use the full unaltered picture of the patient’s likeness, as captured in the Case Photo, for the foregoing purposes. Please see the Terms of Service for further information about the use of Case Photos Data.

2.4. Face Data Practices. The Dentrino Reveal application and related Services may collect face data from photographs you capture or upload. This section describes our practices regarding the collection, use, retention, and sharing of face data:

a. What Face Data We Collect. Face data includes facial geometry, facial landmarks, mouth and dental features, and tooth positioning derived from photographs of the user’s or patient’s face and mouth. Face data is collected only when you voluntarily capture or upload a photo through the app.

b. How We Collect Face Data. Face data is collected directly from you when you take a photo using the in-app camera or upload an existing photo from your device’s photo library. We request your explicit permission before accessing the camera or photo library. No face data is collected in the background or without your active participation.

c. How We Use Face Data. We use face data exclusively to (i) identify and segment individual teeth within the photograph; (ii) generate a proposed set of tooth shapes for the patient; (iii) render a photographic simulation of the proposed dental outcome; and (iv) improve our proprietary AI models to enhance the accuracy and quality of simulations. All AI processing of face data is performed by Dentrino’s own proprietary systems.

d. Face Data Retention. Face data associated with Case Photos is retained as described in Section 7 (Data Retention). You may request deletion of your face data at any time by contacting us as set out in Section 10 below.

e. No Sharing of Face Data with Third-Party AI Services. Dentrino does not send, transmit, or otherwise share face data with any third-party artificial intelligence service, AI platform, or machine learning provider. All AI processing of face data is performed solely by Dentrino’s own proprietary AI models running on Dentrino-controlled infrastructure.

f. Third-Party Infrastructure Providers. Face data contained in Case Photos is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States, as described in Section 4.1(c)(ii). Google Cloud acts solely as a hosting/infrastructure provider and does not use face data for its own purposes. Google Cloud is contractually bound to protect the data in accordance with this Policy. For more information, see Google Cloud’s Privacy Resource Center at https://cloud.google.com/privacy.

2.5. No Third-Party AI Services. Dentrino does not use any third-party AI services (such as OpenAI, Google AI, or any other external AI provider) to process your personal data, including face data, Case Photos, or any other user content. All artificial intelligence and machine learning processing is performed exclusively on Dentrino’s own infrastructure. No personal data is sent to, shared with, or made accessible to any third-party AI service provider.
